We find Toadie on this fine afternoon digging through her own garbage can, looking around worriedly as she does.
Percival has upgraded from his toy oven and tries his hand at making dinner for the family.
Of course, he invites Darla-Juliana over to eat with them.
Not wanting to miss his ride on the romance train, Parsons calls up Rune Pine to see if she wants to come over for dinner as well.
She does, and shows up a young adult... and very pregnant.
Since that potential relationship fell flat, Parsons tries again with the new girl in school - Maureen Cainsworth. She already has a boyfriend - Mitchell Brunson - but Parsons sees that as only a minor obstacle. He knows that Maureen is The One, for real this time.
It doesn't take him long to convince Maureen that he's a better match for her than Mitchell Brunson. She does warn him, however, that Mitchell won't be too happy with him. Parsons isn't too concerned - all his working out will pay off if something does happen.
Don't be a weirdo, Parsons.
Here's Percival's prom picture. Even though he's dating Darla-Juliana, he ended up going stag. Darla-Juliana's brother was having a tonsillectomy, or something, and she couldn't make it.
Parsons also went stag, but for completely different reasons.
Parsons' birthday hits him suddenly while in the bathroom, so his mother and brother rush in to cheer him on while he looks like he's about to ascend into the heavens.
Not bad, Parsons, not bad.
Toadie is confused. So, should she like Parsons now that he's a young adult, or is he still revolting because he's her child?
All of the unanswered questions make her brain hurt.
All of the unanswered questions make her brain hurt.
Maureen's birthday is next on the list.
"I know this is a bit sudden, but..."
"...Will you marry me?"
"Of course!" Maureen squeaks.
"Of course!" Maureen squeaks.
Just in case anyone forgot, Loppy is still a journalist. Here he is, doing journalist things.
For a slight change of pace, here's Percival gardening.
It's another birthday party!
Toadie is officially an elder, the farthest a sim can get from childhood aside from death. She couldn't be happier.
