Our scene opens with a burglar tiptoeing towards the Brine house.
The police arrive - thanks to the installed burglar alarm - and makes a big show of beating up the burglar.
Loppy faints out of sheer terror., and Toadie isn't sure what to do about that.
Everything is fine, nothing is stolen, and by the next day Toadie's life has returned to normal, her biggest problem being the child at the breakfast table.
It's the weekend, so the family spends some quality time outdoors. Toadie is a bit miffed that Loppy brought the toddler out into her personal garden, but she doesn't say anything.
Parsons is a very talkative child, and when he isn't running around doing something athletic, he's usually bothering one of his parents.
Toadie thinks she's slowly getting better at tolerating the presence of her children, which is a plus.
Still, it's Loppy who continues little Percival's education. Just like with his son, Toadie's improvement is one step at a time.
When his parents are working, Percival spends his days with a babysitter - Monte Huber, who has an absolutely atrocious hair color.
But hair color doesn't matter when the person is in charge of your food, so Percival doesn't notice.
Monte and Percival spend their days together quietly.
Of course, Percival is always happy to see Dad when he comes home from work.
A few more cute but pointless pictures of our heir.
Parsons struggles with his homework. Growing up was definitely the worst idea ever.
Toadie tries to upgrade the sink and ends up breaking it instead.
Meanwhile, Loppy works on his charisma skill by talking to himself in the mirror. He convinces himself it isn't the same as when his wife talks to herself.
No chapter is complete without a picture of Toadie working in her garden. This time, it's in the evening hours, and with her lab uniform still on.
Obligatory photo of the founder and heir together. Toadie was not happy about it.

End Notes: I wanted to change Monte Huber's hair so bad but I couldn't ;;_;;
