Toadie starts a garden on the front lawn - she says it will help her with science.
She's also becoming quite handy around the house, although insanity and tinkering with random appliances don't always go well together.
Pregnancy doesn't stop Toadie from tending to her garden in formal wear!
And illegally boosting the channels on her cheap TV in her workout gear!
Loppy is content with reading books.
Toadie's garden is coming along nicely, with a combination of tomatoes and grapevines.
Oops! Baby time!
Back from the hospital, Toadie brings a newborn boy named Parsons. And he is loud.
Toadie reluctantly comforts her son before putting him to sleep in his crib. Hopefully Loppy won't mind doing most of the touchy-feely parent-y stuff.
A short while later, Loppy and Toadie have an unknown conversation on the couch, probably having something to do with Toadie not telling him the baby was born until after he came home from work.
Lucky for Toadie, Loppy loves kids almost as much as she doesn't, and doesn't mind spending his time at home with his son.
Toadie is forgiven soon enough for her lapse in judgement, and the couple are back to flirting awkwardly like always.
Oh, whoever could this cake be for?
Who EVER could it BE?
Happy birthday, Parsons!
Well, he isn't the heir, but he's still a cutie. Parsons got his father's eyes and facial features, and a surprise hair color mutation. Better luck next time, Toadie.
Back on the job, Loppy rummages through a neighbor's garbage in search of a hot news story to write.
Workin' hard to provide for his family, I see.
Back at the house, Toadie thinks it's logical to put two whole onions into her goopy carbonara.
Curses, she now has to do motherly things! And she has to make another one, too!
Things are just not going Toadie's way.
