The great founder of this particular story is named Toadie Brine.
...No, not her. She just happens to be a very interesting townie.

This is Toadie Brine. She's an insane, neurotic perfectionist who loves the outdoors and absolutely hates children.
Unfortunately for her, this is a perfect genetics challenge, so the number of potential children is limitless.

Toadie Brine lives in a little house on a cliff by the sea, and has the hair to match. That is definitely not a build mode grid on the kitchen floor.
First things first - Toadie has to get a proper job so she can pay for her seaside abode. The science career seems like the best fit for an insane sim such as herself.
This is Toadie's neighbor, Loppy Granule. His name sounds like someone thought of the first word and non-word that came to their mind and just went with it. Poor guy.
Still, he's kind of cute. And he has a fancy hair color, which means he's half-berry, too!
He seems to be a pretty swell guy.
Toadie thinks he may think fondly of her, too, but it's hard to tell.
Toadie has trouble making friends - being insane and neurotic can have that affect - so she takes advantage of this one potential-relationship and invites Loppy to stay for dinner. She can make a mean autumn salad.
Loppy sits with a chair in-between them, so he may still be a little wary.
Toadie decides to help him break out of his shell with a kiss! That's what normal people do, right?
It's enough to get Loppy down on one knee! He's a cowardly fellow, so bursts of boldness make him do crazy things.
"Please answer fast," he tells Toadie. "I'm really tired."
"Please answer fast," he tells Toadie. "I'm really tired."
Toadie is insane, so being proposed to in the middle of her kitchen by a man she met just that afternoon makes total sense to her.
And exchanging rings right then and there is just the natural progression of things!
Well... that happened, I guess.
Loppy has no issues moving in with Toadie. Apparently, he didn't even have a house on the lot next door, and carried nothing but the clothes on his back and his high school diploma, for some reason. Kind of a weird neighbor.
But Toadie doesn't mind - it just proves they were destined to be together. Even their dreams are equally bizarre.

The next morning, Loppy is so happy to be married that he leaps into Toadie's arms. Toadie had worn her bathing suit to bed.
After a shower, she changes into her formal wear. Her entire wardrobe has the same color scheme.
A picture of Toadie brushing her teeth, for some reason.
Domestic life kicks in right away.
Loppy gets a job as a Journalist - he dreams of becoming a Star News Anchor. Toadie reads a book on handiness.
Toadie, no doubt staring dreamily at an unsuspecting Loppy.
"So, you got a job?" Toadie asks, giggling. (Who knows why.) Loppy nods, more interested in the TV. Toadie is sweet and cute-weird, but he's quickly learning that she's also tiring.
Still, he loves her very much.
Toadie is the big spoon.
Toadie is the big spoon.
Due to her insanity, Toadie sometimes forgets she has control over her hands. She doesn't understand why, but they can be very malicious with minds of their own.
Wait... what is this feeling...?
Could it be... a baby...?
Could it be... a baby...?
Noooooooo!!
